Inflatable Design
At this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, a giant inflatable Liam Neeson doing the splits between two palm trees definitely turned heads. Spanning 30 feet wide and floating midair in a full split, the inflatable was a playful nod to the over-the-top humor of The Naked Gun, Neeson’s upcoming comedy.
With a perfectly puzzled expression and cartoonish scale, the installation quickly became a fan favorite. People stopped to take photos, laugh, and share the moment online. It was the kind of unexpected, ridiculous setup that fit right in with the Comic-Con energy. More than just a photo op, inflatable Liam was a clever way to tease the film’s tone and bring a little absurdity to the streets of San Diego.
